What Customs?

There was an article mentioning that actress C Lau had to pass through customs and did not have celebrity status in a recent airport. It was meant to be a news worthy story?
She has no privilege is not right?
She should be searched , scanned etc like every other person. Can't she be a potential trouble maker? Making movies doesnt make her more noble or righteous and error-free
