Zombiefied
work has been bz lately...everything's urgent....so m was some sort of fire fighter now....which place catches on fire, I'll be there attending. But something has changed...I dun feel pressure at all despite all these..in fact, I dun feel anything at all...compared to the early days, I would haf fallen sick...I'm not sure whether this is due to lost motivation/I haf turn to a super spongebob that could absorbed anything/I am really tat good in taking work pressure...I'm not sure....I dun feel desperately need for holiday..I dun dread to go to work...I dun whine abt the loads...my daily routine since last month was like: sleep-awake-work-vrooom-online chatting with L-sleep...I dun feel sorry abt myself for having boring life....I dun feel anything.....

When I first reached here, there was a programme that showed her fight with cancer and her family friends support. Her son is in jail now. Not sure if he was there when she left. Ryan O’Neal has been by her side ever since she first got the illness. Dunno their background or details. But he was so wonderful and supportive in the show and during the interviews protecting her. A couple of days ago , there was an announcement that he proposed and she accepted. Before they got it official, she left.
MJ was at gym
Was struggling with the super heavy bags to the gym when I saw the headlines. Got stunned and shocked. A hoax was on my mind but can’t be from Fox news. After that reports after reports and tributes were broadcast.
People were emotional and wailed.

Hush has done a magnificent job these past few years. Braved the Spore roads and NY uneven ones. Made me reach my destinations and made me fall.
Went to the cobblers to fix the faults and managed to brave the world.
Now I think its time for it to retire in the foreign land. Seems not able to restore to former glory.
Strangely feel a bit no bear heart on this.
This trip has made Hush retire and Nike grow a hole…..

Kinda surprised to receive a mail from T saying both Jackson n Fawcett passed away this morning. First tawt was, which Jackson...silly mi....and I tawt both of them perished together in another weird incident or something. Gooogled...really shocking bah.....totally caught off guard...
I believe these few weeks, they will be the talking point of the whole world bah....his CDs, DVDs, gonna sell well...radio stations will be pumping his greatest hits...today we lost icons. RIP

Depicts the lifestyle of the tai tai and their bitchy ways. It’s the level of bitch fight I have never seen before. Scary and disgraceful.
Apparently the programme was accurate in showing their lives , accordingly to one housewives. Botox parties where everyone hires the doc to home and everyone take turns to get jab.
Is it the air here or money that makes them to what they are?

Saw J. Robert Spencer, Aaron Tveit and maybe Adam Chanler-Berat & Louis Hobson at backstage after the theatre.
Regretted not taking the camera to the Majestic. Din noe photos were allowed. The previous theatres strictly prohibited before show. Majestic allowed prior and during intermission. Wat a waste. Majestic was the better looking one oso.
A group were hanging outside the backstage of another theatre. Went to see and joined the crowd like some yuppie.
Din noe who I was looking at but they were real frenly and taking pictures and autographs dedicating to specific names. Not exactly eye sores either.
I would have taken a pic with them if I had Canon and google them later.
Spencer and Tveit was really sure I saw. Beret and Hobson I might have seen as there a few talking and lurking with other fans. A confirmed star sighting. After the Tony awards where I never knew those i saw were seat warmers or real stars.

Just before Magnolia flew to Mid East, I was called into his room....

What's Universal Language?
Went to a concert and was blown away…..
Strangely, I have no idea what he was singing except for myb a couple of words….
Audience was cheering and screaming and he did I think 5 or 6 songs encore. The 2hr and 15 min was magnificent and gave goose bumps twinkle…
I never knew Bumble Bee and Gypsy can be done on a flute! wowo!
It was better than I expected since ang moh concerts can be so rigid and short. Chinese singers just go on and on and on which is definitely wonderful. Dun understand y people go off early though. Aint you keen to listen to the very last note?
The view wasn’t that great but the conductor and voice made up for it.
Amazing how music can work such wonders especially when I dun even know if he is singing a curse song or ballad.
The walk down MSG was another story. They switched off all the elevators and people were stuck and walking. Fire hazard. And cos the audience is primarily elderly, the attempt to exit was long. I tawt I was going to have a concussion from lack of air.
There was a phase where people went Ha Re or Ha han and gone crazy for Japan or Korean shows and songs. It started with Japan with the songs and comedic serials. Then there was this law about not giving exports until 1 yr after the film is public. Korean versions sweep in and people went bonkers…..
People made travel plans to see movie film sites, visit the actor' neighbourhood.
I know people who learnt the language while watching the foreign programmes or hear the songs. An Indian school mate understood Chinese from SBC drama serials.
Even Canto ones. H can sing Xiao Li Fei Dao without missing a heartbeat with such conviction & accuracy…. We were like WOW!! You learnt it by memorizing it!
I never did learn the language. Dabbled with a couple but those were not worth mentioning. However whenever I watch a foreign show, I rather hear the language and read the English subtitles. Dubbing just loses the flavour.
I listen to all sorts of songs until I can never define a genre. It’s jus pure rojak.
I was thinking I used to have a list of people I really wanna hear if they ever come. I fulfilled some. Some are no longer be able to sing unless they cross over out of the light. Some I hope they come but think they might never.
In fact, I hear songs and know hey I like this or I hate that but I may not even know the song or artiste. Eg radios just play songs after song. They dun go song #1 Mary had a little lamb by Rihana ……..Next song #2 Twinkle twink twink by Jacky Cheung.
They lump it all in front or back if they ever say and well, I dun really listen to DJs unless I pump up the volume.
O used to keep weekly charts of the top 10 songs. For years I think …. Never knew why … in fact O doesn’t know why either…..
O will tell me, this song B u hear before? By X ? nice right?
I will say, no I dunno X or B

Oh I see , ya I know. I dun like la.
And I will get whack left and right by O. But of cos I will give punches back front and back in defence.

so tempted to get thsoe rubber boots.... it will be so much easier to walk with puddles everywhere.... but after that I got no use for them...

i always recall the time I did it from C to N. I just had to walk and there was a light rain. Think i started the journey for the slippers to wear off after that walk. I recall i was in slippers and skirt. Not the best attire and not the fastest route.
I dun recall the reason why I did it but I always recall that scene and walk.

I am a Sweet person....
After the date with Hyde Pierce, the weather was cool and great. Had a mood for a cold drink. There was none in the apt and I could get Jabas but the price made me take a step back and curtsey. At that very moment, someone came up, "Hey here's a Coke Zero sample for you." . Oh my gosh... timing is so impeccable. First time I see people giving freebies samples here and just when I wanted a drink.
Wanted to walk a bit around and Popped by in the M&M store. Think this is the 2nd or 3rd time I went in for the past month. 1st was pure agony with the reluctant leg. 2nd was to snap some pics. 3rd was to look at the stuff.... It was colourful and wonderful. Tourists and summer holiday children were scrambling and getting hyped up.... Everything can be made into a M&M item.... walked a bit. had a glimmer of relaxed bliss. Came out empty handed. myb another day will grab a couple of stuff.
Made me recall the time when I stumbled upon Magnolia and Dylans and Serenpendity... Few places I read about and did include in the chunk of ny papers but nver really venture to look..... The glee when I saw them.... Was looking at Betseys but the variety was disappointed and prices crazy.
Then i saw Serenpendity on the way there. there was a queue... I popped in have a look and went out satisfied. So this is the place where the movie was made and have the 1k desert sundae. I don't even remember the story of the movie but I know I saw. The movie title word got stuck in my mind instead of the plot. It was a cutesy cosy little place with nice decor.
After that I saw Dylan's Candy Bar!!!! oh my gosh.... it's amazing.... I tawt candy bars are a big disappointment after I saw the one at 8th. But Dylan was nice. Gummi bears are never the same again. They were big and had all sorts of colours flavours... there were whole bunch of unknown candy and sweets and even some that can knock u unconscious if I threw at u. Machines to dispense bubble gum in tubes were there. Sooooo many varieties and colours....There was this hugemongous choc bunny!! M said I had a sparkle and beamed with glee.....but I din have Canon with me!!! aaaarrrghhhhh
Came out empty handed as the prices were like too mad for the bears or the others . 12 ish usd for a pound....
I was walkign then saw heyy isnt that Magnolia Bakery where they have supposedly great cupcakes? oh yes!.... got a couple of cupcakes and cake. Oh my gosh... the texture was great BUT a big BUT it was just tooooo sweettttt!!!!!!! wat's with the sugar contents with pple here. Everything can be tooo sweet.
Think was most excited when I stumbled upon Dylan's....I like sweets. am a sweet person..... but not those crazy sugar rush type though. Too sweet gets on my nerves...
Not exactly a choc person. I eat chocs and drink chocs. but if it's too saturated and supposedly the best, i cannot take it. I am the rare kind tat dun exactly like choc cake and moouse or anything brownish wonderful. In fact, i dun take coffee. pple go huh? how can.. u dun like coffee and not choc crazy? u gal le...
ya i gal but i not the universal mould of how one is supposed to be ba... either i am tat unique or just a freak.

Was at DC. Super hot was a understatement…. It was burning scorching!! There were no shelters or shades along the streets so you were a buffet to the sun rays…

Smithsonian institution have many museums in Washington. Realised there were 19 museums, 9 research centers, and the National Zoo. And admissions were all free. What a generous donation….. Pop in and out of about 4 of them… It was amazing… The home’s version is such a joke compared to these…
There were lots of monuments in the area. Mostly to commerate war veterans or past presidents. There were for Jefferson, Rosevalt, Lincoln, Washington, Nixon and Kennedy.
The president’s had statues of the person as well as famous sayings engraved nearby. They were grand. Brochures made them look eerie at night but when I saw it, they looked ok, day and night. Not as creepy as the advertisements. If I am not freaked out, doubt anybody else will. My scardy cat level is quite high. They were in fact very beautifully made.
There were memorials for Vietnam war, Korean War and the unknown soldier. At Arlington, there was changing of guards at the tomb of the unknown soldier. Kennedy and his family grave were not far off. The cemetery was huge. The tomb stones were lined up really straight, to mimic the soldiers when they were at attention in a parade. Every tomb was for a fallen soldier or his family. Even the astronauts of Challenger were commemorated. They were the astronauts in the space ship that never made too far off earth.
At the Vietnam war memorial, the list of names of soldiers who sacrificed were engraved on the wars. One by one the names are listed there… As you read , it hits that people with names have died while fighting for a cause. People traced the names on the war. I assume they knew him…. Flowers were there. People were just looking and possibly looking for a familiar name…..
Millions of people have died while fighting in a war. For a cause they believed in or for a cause they knew nothing about but just had to be in the fight, voluntarily or national obligation. War is ongoing now in many countries. The idea of world peace may never happen in my lifetime but I hope it doesn’t grow to be wider - spread and be claustrophobic. Better not to have a tourist attraction than to have a site to remember people who died due to human differences….
At JFK’s burial ground, his brother, wife and daughter were nearby. A fire was burning. Assumably to symbolize the eternal flame and memory of him. Such artifacts, it’s as a reminder for living humans and a ease of mind? Why wait when the person is no longer around and cannot know how people grieve his presence?
There is this place I want to visit. I couldn’t then but am able now. But just do not have the courage to….. myb one day…..

Calculate the Bearings
Google map has been a tool I use to find out places I need to go and how to go….. it helped me zillions when need to find a subway or bus or how to walk….
It doesn’t tell you the dangers of public transportation. Whole line of Subways can decide to close for the weekend or clean the tracks or get blocked cos some president or prince is visiting. You enter the wrong entrance and no way out. In order to save 2 bucks, you take the train downtown to another possibly few stations wherever it can be and then go back uptown again…
The sign goes downtown Line A and you follow , go up the stairs, cross the tunnel, down the stairs and up the tunnel and down again… and hey!! The train no longer is in service!
Well at least not in service in the day you need to and is the only train that goes there without changing 2 other trains if you know how to…..
If you are a newbie, good luck…. Time is never an essence on your side….
Buses are never on time and you wonder if it’s discontinued after seeing 3 buses of the other number but never yours…
Oh yes, bus can stop abruptly at an area because roads are closed. Yes, Obama is going on a date with Michelle , roads need to be closed. The world need to stop while they are lovey dovey to the world.
Google map was the tool that L somehow managed to find my location ba…. L quoted names around my area but never the right direction… hahah told many many correspondences before I think the right place was found. I think so…. Haha….

L:Measure the air DB and WB temperature from the blower using sling thermo, measure the same thing ard the tv and oso four corners of the room...take average....Plot on the chart...

Y: say the room design temp is 72F and 50%RH...
L:Then the dewpoint is abt 53F *plotting from the chart*

L: I using carrier one....ignore it bah....we assume now (I tawt all the charts are the same-brand or no brand)

L: Any object in this space with a temp of less than 53F will cool the moisture below it's saturation temp and condensation will occur...is just like u put a ice water in a room..without air cond...u get droplets...on the cup...cus the air temp surround the cup is cooler.....ur tv got heat...so should not be any problem...jus need to make sure ur off coil temp. is above 53F when the tv no turn on..then guarantee no conden n since the unit above...check the temperature of the diffuser....not more than 12C..later condense on the fins...then drop water on tv...bomb...jialat....then blah blah blah

A thief attempted to rob a home..... Plans were foiled by an alert neighbour....
Next day, another or same thief robs another home.....in the same neighbourhood, juz a different house....went in and left by the back..
dog was safe but not doing the job....
POssibly the same thief. He/She did not meet the target goal from the previous night so attempted again.
To minimise risk, why not the same neighbourhood that was talent spotted but just another house.....
Pure courage to attempt again?
