Clap Clap Clap

My understanding of Encore : the demand for a repeat performance by audience, probably by applause due to it's popularity.

There is a few tv programmes that always have encore telecast at prime time aka repeat telecast rather quickly after 1st telecast. i wonder if the viewers really ask for re-run and how they did it.....
can i cast an against vote?
