Calculate the Bearings
Google map has been a tool I use to find out places I need to go and how to go….. it helped me zillions when need to find a subway or bus or how to walk….
It doesn’t tell you the dangers of public transportation. Whole line of Subways can decide to close for the weekend or clean the tracks or get blocked cos some president or prince is visiting. You enter the wrong entrance and no way out. In order to save 2 bucks, you take the train downtown to another possibly few stations wherever it can be and then go back uptown again…
The sign goes downtown Line A and you follow , go up the stairs, cross the tunnel, down the stairs and up the tunnel and down again… and hey!! The train no longer is in service!
Well at least not in service in the day you need to and is the only train that goes there without changing 2 other trains if you know how to…..
If you are a newbie, good luck…. Time is never an essence on your side….
Buses are never on time and you wonder if it’s discontinued after seeing 3 buses of the other number but never yours…
Oh yes, bus can stop abruptly at an area because roads are closed. Yes, Obama is going on a date with Michelle , roads need to be closed. The world need to stop while they are lovey dovey to the world.
Google map was the tool that L somehow managed to find my location ba…. L quoted names around my area but never the right direction… hahah told many many correspondences before I think the right place was found. I think so…. Haha….
M&M and Hersheys and Starbucks muz be sneezing and itchy ears while I repeat their names many times….
